September Policy Advocacy Network Meeting

At the most recent Policy Advocacy Network meeting, we covered several important topics:

• The Women’s Policy Institute team presented a draft of their Child Care and Early Learning Policy Strategies document for feedback;
• Brainstorm language and priorities for the draft of the county’s early childhood legislative platform.  A draft will be sent out to network members for review;
• Discuss next steps and timeline for LCFF advocacy.

Our next meeting will review Network activities over the next couple of weeks, including LCFF, state and federal policies along with continued support for the Women’s Policy Institute team. Please join us and invite other to participate.
