Bright Beginnings’ Salinas Mamás have an ambitious — and they believe doable — goal: making quality, full-time preschool accessible for all children. Earlier this month, several Mamás were interviewed by Radio Bilingüe. During the interview, they shared the work of their Preschool for All campaign in Salinas. The local action team works in the community to raise awareness of the importance of quality, full-time preschool for a child’s success in school and life. The Mamás also mobilize their peers to ensure that parents’ voices are heard in the decision-making processes to prioritize and fund early childhood development programs. Curious to learn more?
