Monterey County Child Care bill passes Assembly committee on Human Services

AB 300 (Caballero): Child care and development services: individualized county child care subsidy plans passed (6-0) out of the California State Assembly Committee on Human Services. In May, the bill will hopefully be heard in the Assembly Committee on Appropriations, the committee who determines how much bills will cost.. If passed, AB 300 will give Monterey, San Benito, and Santa Cruz Counties local control to help more families with young children access affordable, quality child care.  Click here to read the full story!
