The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) has updated its recommendations for rear-facing car seats, recommending that children remain in a rear-facing car seat for “as long as possible, until they reach the highest weight or height allowed by their seat.”

ACTION: Car accidents are the leading cause of death for young children in Monterey County – please help us keep little ones safe by sharing these new guidelines.
