Black Maternal Health Week (BMHW) is a week of education and advocacy around the experiences of Black Mamas. Through a series of digital and community events, BMHW will uplift Black-women led entities to focus on the root causes of poor maternal health outcomes while also leaning on Black voices to drive conversation around tangible community-driven policy, programs, and solutions. The campaign and activities for Black Maternal Health Week serve to amplify the voices of Black Mamas and center the values and traditions of the reproductive and birth justice movements. Download the social media toolkit to share resources onto your organizations’ social media platforms and be sure to use the hashtag #BMHW21.
