We’d like to share with you an exciting opportunity to advocate for early childhood in Seaside. The city of Seaside is beginning a multi-year process to update the city’s General Plan. The General Plan helps dictate the city’s priorities and can influence where city resources are allocated.
Many cities have looked into adding early childhood language to their general plans, including the city of Salinas in their economic development element. We hope that many of you will be able to attend the upcoming August 2nd meeting at 4pm, in partnership with Seaside’s National Night Out, and share how important it is for cities and communities to invest in our children and families.
