September Policy Advocacy Network Meeting
The Bright Beginnings Policy Advocacy Network is up and running. At our September meeting, the Women’s Policy Institute Team solicited feedback on their draft of a Road Map for Family Centric Systems. The road map gives context to our work and suggestions for activities regarding how to approach policy for early childhood development. We also continued discussions on how to deepen School District and Community partnerships along with language for the updated Monterey County Legislative Platform regarding early childhood development.
